Flooding affecting the following roads (but they are not closed unless stated) -
B3179 Clyst St George 2 cars stuck queuing onto A376 – gang stuck in traffic trying to get to site

A382 Whiddon Down

Woolbrook Road, Sidmouth impassable

Chudleigh Knighton – Kingsteignton

A377 Cowley Hill closed

A375 Cotford and Weycroft Bridge

A385 Shinners Bridge to Marley Head – both directions

A361 Gornhay Cross, Tiverton both carriageways

Halsdon Road, Exmouth

Clyst Road, Topsham

A380 Olchard Lane Ideford

B3193 Finlake

A3052 is closed at Bowd Inn. Diversions are being set up

B3192 – two large landslips near Teignmouth Golf Club.

B3181 at Hayhouse, Broadclyst, impassable

A3072 North Tawton to Bow closed. Diversions in place

A3072 Bickleigh Bridge closed – Fisherman’s Cott flooded

A3072 No Man’s Land, Shobrooke

Langford Bridge, Honiton, impassable

Totnes to Avonwick road impassable
Also -

Greatwestern Canal about to breach in places

Trains out of Exeter St David’s delayed up to 1 hour

A number of schools have been affected, either by flooding at the school or because staff are unable to reach the school because of flooded roads.

  2. Does anyone have any information on the bridge at Langford on the Langford/Shute road. Is it f;looded on both sides. Also is it possible to get to Crediton on the Langford/Shute road this am. (Sat.24th) Have any trees come down at Newbridge Cross on the A377. Does it look as though the land might slip there?

  5. Anyone know if I can get to from stoke cannon to Tiverton ? It says bickleigh bridge shut but I’m guessing that’s on the other side of the fishermans cot on the junction for the crediton road ??

    Water near the station in Sampford Pev, luckily I’m a really good driver and got through it. others might not be so lucky

    I only just got to work in Exeter from Seaton. I dropped two of my children at School which is just as well as the bus didn’t make it. My youngest is on a course at the university of Exeter but her primary school (Seaton Primary) is closed. Bit worried how I am going to get home….

    Yettington, Colaton Raleigh, Newton Poppleford, Woodbury all roads flooded and impassable at 8.15-8.30 severe congestion through East Budleigh caused not only by flooding but diverted traffic away from main road due to bridge closure, with water levels in stream dangerously high, close to flooding properties
