Posted on: 1 February 2017
Companies in Devon are being invited to a free day of business support at the Deer Park Country House Hotel with one firm set to secure £20,000 of support for the rest of the year.
Backed by Devon County Council, Fast Track to Growth is a free resource for firms across the county. The deadline to apply for the free business support via www.ft2g.co.uk is Monday 6 February.
Every company that applies gets a full day of business support, and complimentary lunch, at Deer Park Hotel, near Honiton, on Tuesday 14 February. The Growth Day at Deer Park will provide free advice from a range of experts on everything from growth planning and financial strategy to making the most of cloud-technology and use of data.
After the event, 15 companies will be shortlisted for the free intensive Fast Track to Growth programme, benefiting from a series of business sessions in Exeter and Plymouth, to gain further invaluable business insight and develop their growth plans.
Councillor Andrew Leadbetter, Devon County Council Cabinet member for Economy and Growth, said: “Last year’s programme was a great success and we’re pleased to be lending our support this year. The County Council is keen to promote growth in our economy and Fast Track to Growth can play an integral part in helping to achieve that.
“Devon is a great place to work and live, and the support from the business community for this initiative highlights that. I’d urge companies to sign up and take this opportunity to tap into a wealth of experience from local businesses backing the programme.”
Astley Media, Barclays, Cosmic, DataWise Intelligence, Devon County Council, Francis Clark, Neligan Financial, Perfect Pigtails, Sampson Hall, SETSquared Exeter and Stephens Scown LLP are amongst the partner organisations and business advisers supporting the programme.
