Lane closures on A380 for emergency barrier repairs

A380 Eagle Farm, Kingsteignton

Posted on: 17 July 2018

Lane closures will be introduced on the A380 near Kingsteignton from 7:30pm this evening (Tuesday 17 July) for essential repairs to be carried out.

Following a collision on the section of road near Eagle Farm, more than 120 metres of central reservation barriers were damaged and need to be replaced.

For the safety of the public, one lane will be closed in each direction from this evening to enable Devon County Council contractors to install new barriers.

Motorists are being warned to expect the possibility of delays and to allow some additional time for journeys.

The lane closures will remain in place while work is undertaken throughout tomorrow (Wednesday 18 July) and possibly into the following day, but it is expected that the road will be fully re-opened by the evening of Thursday (19 July).
