Overnight closures are planned for Bridge Road in Exeter over two evenings this week.

The road will be closed overnight from 8:30pm tonight (Tuesday 28 November) to 5:30am tomorrow morning, and during the same hours overnight tomorrow (Wednesday 29 November).

The closures will enable work to be carried out on bridge expansion joints, as well as resurfacing and drainage cleaning. The work is weather dependant.

The diversion route will be signed via Topsham Road, Alphington Road, Marsh Barton and the A379.

Details of changes to Stagecoach bus services will be available at https://www.stagecoachbus.com/regional-service-updates/south-west/greater-exeter

Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to access Bridge Road during the closures via local temporary diversions. They are advised to take care and follow the site signage and any instructions from site staff.

Further updates will be posted on the Bridge Road Widening Scheme website, where you can sign up for alerts.
