Overnight work at new roundabout on A39
Posted on: 15 June 2017
Overnight work will be carried out to complete resurfacing of the new roundabout on the A39 North Road in Barnstaple.
Temporary four-way traffic signals will be in place, from the evening of Monday (19 June). The manually operated lights will be similar to the previous signal arrangements on site, but will only be in use between 7pm and 7am each evening for up to two weeks.
The signals will be needed overnight for up to two weeks to carry out final surfacing work, roadmarking and high friction surfacing at the roundabout which serves Westaway Plain and North Devon District Hospital. The work is being carried out overnight to minimise disruption.
