Teachers and staff in nearly 170 Devon schools are working over the Easter holidays to provide care and support for the children of key workers
Devon County Council is giving more to support local organisations helping to tackle the effects of coronavirus in their communities, by introducing a new grant of up to £5,000 as part of the COVID 19 Prompt Action Fund.

Councils are identifying accommodation that could, if required, be turned into temporary care facilities for people when they’re ready to leave hospital, to relieve pressure on the NHS.
Nine apprentices, part funded by Devon County Council, will be employed by independent sector social care providers.
