Overnight closures will be needed on Exeter Road in Exmouth over two evenings later this month for essential resurfacing work to be carried out.

Work on Exeter Road will be undertaken from its junction with Marine Way to the junction with Danby Terrace on Wednesday 29 May and Thursday 30 May. The road will close at 6pm and re-open by midnight on each of the two evenings.

No vehicles will be able to park on the road during the work. Residents living within the closure may be able to have vehicular access their properties in exceptional circumstances by liaising with the site foreman, although it is not guaranteed.

An official signed diversion route will be in place via the A376 Marine Way and the Parade, although local people may find alternative routes.

Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the work.

The scheme will be carried out by contractor Skanska.
