Devon County Council’s Cabinet Member responsible for public health is supporting a campaign to raise awareness of domestic violence and abuse, during the World Cup 2018.
This weekend marks the start of 16 Days of Action. 16 days to raise awareness of the domestic and sexual violence and abuse (DSVA).
Devon County Council is to receive £357,000 to help combat domestic violence within the county. The fund will go towards a project aimed at ensuring people in positions of care are helped to identify early signs of domestic violence and giving them the knowledge of how to intervene.
