Devon’s newest primary school officially opened

Devon’s newest primary school has been officially opened in Exeter. Trinity Church of England VA Primary and Nursery School in Newcourt was opened by Devon County Council chair, Caroline Chugg and the Bishop of Exeter, the Rt Revd Robert Atwell.

New strategy to reduce plastic waste gets green light

Devon County Council will phase out its use of the most polluting single-use plastic products within two years. Members of the Council’s Cabinet voted unanimously to support to the move, which is part of a new action plan to help cut the amount of single-use plastic waste in Devon.
