Illegal tobacco worth almost £60,000 seized

In total 156,840 cigarettes (7,842 Packets of 20) and 36.25Kgs of hand rolling tobacco (725 x 50g pouches) were seized from retailers across the service area.

New A38 slip road for Lee Mill comes a step closer

Plans for a new slip road to Lee Mill off the A38 have been backed by senior councillors. Devon County Council’s Cabinet gave the go ahead for the scheme to be designed and developed and for a planning application to be submitted.
