Resurfacing work on the A386 Tavistock Road

Work starts week after next to resurface a section of the A386 Tavistock Road between Roborough and Yelverton. From the 17 to 21 June, the resurfacing work will run from the Dartmoor Diner north for approximately 900 metres.

In the sixties, the ratio of women to men working in technology was 50:50. Today, despite there being a lot more opportunities, only 20 per cent of the workforce in technology is women.

Devon and Cornwall Police have launched a campaign to raise awareness of County Lines – urban gangs supplying drugs to suburban areas and coastal towns. The public can help disrupt the supply by spotting the signs of such criminal activity in their community and reporting it.
