Vital work on the A380 Kingsteignton continues with the next phase

The next phase of the ongoing work to resurface the A380 between Kennford and Newton Abbot starts today.

The first section, Kingsteignton Southbound between Eagle Farm junction and Ware Barton junction was completed before Christmas.  Now, the Kingsteignton Northbound section, between Ware Barton junction and Eagle Farm junction, starts today, (Monday 6 January).

The work is scheduled to finish on the Friday 14 February, and will involve overnight road closures on the northbound side, between 6:30pm and 6am.  There will also be a 24 hour contraflow system in place for a four-week period while the bridge deck is waterproofed and parapet is replaced.

Diversions will be in place for the duration.

During the day time and over the weekend a 40 mph speed limit will be in operation.
